Susie was rescued from San Bernardino high-kill shelter.   Only five months old, she was labeled a stray and was only given a short time to be adopted or rescued.  The Samadhi Legacy Foundation rescued her and Susie spent a month with her amazing foster, Steve, who taught her some socialization skills and even started training her on the leash.  Susie was adopted on December 18th and driven to her new home in Florida.  A good friend of mine, looking for another dog and a playmate for her dog Kyla, wanted to rescue a Pit Bull.  We all did a 4 1/2 day cross country road trip and Q (as she is now called) has settled in with her new sister and mama in their West Palm Beach home.   Q even got to spend the night in the Presidential suite in a Biloxi spa and casino- a far cry from the cement floor of SB.  All who have been with Q consider themselves the lucky ones.
