We love Ferdi! He will walk all day, but he doesn’t like hiking! But at a nice steady pace, he will go and go and go, take a little break, and then go some more. He’s perfect on a leash, though he’s a little stubborn with some of his other obedience, but overall he’s a very well behaved gentleman. He’s our “starter” dog for new volunteers because he’s so easy to handle and loves everybody. He thinks he likes car rides but then he gets in and doesn’t know what to do, but he’s ready to go either way! If you’re looking for a calm, easy dog: Ferdi is the dog for you. Our volunteers love him to bits because he’s so mellow and easy-going, but he’s got a big silly personality in there, too.
